EMERGE 2026 // It was a wonderful celebration of the talent, creativity, and dedication of our Year 12 Music, Drama, Visual Arts, and Design & Technology students. From inspiring performances to outstanding major works, our students showcased the results of countless hours of hard work and artistic growth. While these projects are still being refined for final HSC submissions and performances, the standard on display was exceptional. Please continue to keep our Year 12 students in your prayers as they prepare for the exciting months ahead.

THE LEGIO IX EXPERIENCE // As part of the Latin program, Roman re-enactors visited students in Year 7 in the seventh week of Term 3. The students made clothes, baked bread, and took part in Roman military drills in their tribe colours. (We don’t think the Romans had Kahoot quizzes back in the day though). Thank you to all the staff members who made this day possible.

DOUBLE GOLD // Our music students have done it again. Both our Primary Orchestra, Regencini, and our Secondary Orchestra, Regency, took out First Place at this year's Hawkesbury Eisteddfod, repeating last year's double win.

Results like this take weeks of rehearsal, patience and quiet perseverance, and we are so proud of the skill and humility our students showed representing our school. A huge thank you to our conductor, Dr Sadaharu Murumatsu, and to Mrs Scheglova and Mrs Rebecca Park, for their wonderful support and encouragement throughout.

Congratulations, Regencini and Regency. 🎻🎶 It is moments like these that remind us what a special community we get to be part of.

INTERSCHOOL CHESS // Both our Primary and Secondary teams are heading to the semifinals! 🏆

RPCS welcomed 120 students from 9 visiting schools for the local final of the Interschool Chess Challenge. Our Primary team placed third in their division, and our Secondary team took second—what a fantastic result! 🎉

A special thanks to Team Captain Alex W (Year 11) for leading with prayer and motivation. It was wonderful to see students from Years 3 to 11 connecting across age groups, all united by the love of the game. Keep an eye out for semifinal dates! ♟️

GATEWAY EXCURSION // Front row seats to world-class artistry! 🎻

Last week, our gifted musicians, including members of the Regency Orchestra, travelled to the Sydney Opera House as part of the GATEway Talent Development program. They sat in on an open rehearsal with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, watching conductor Simone Young guide the orchestra through Strauss's An Alpine Symphony and Elgar's Cello Concerto.

A pretty special way to learn from one of Australia's leading conductors and see the craft up close!

The day wrapped up with a relaxed lunch in the Royal Botanic Garden, sun out and Sydney at its best. Days like this remind us how blessed we are to nurture creativity and talent in such inspiring surroundings.

So proud of our GATEway students for representing RPCS with enthusiasm and grace. 🎶

MORNING TEA // What a lovely morning we had today! We welcomed prospective families for a relaxed morning tea with our Principal and Heads of Primary and Secondary, a chance to ask questions, meet some of our wonderful students, and get a real feel for life at our school.

One parent asked our students a great question: "What's one thing you love about the school, and one thing you'd change?" Their honest, thoughtful answers gave everyone a genuine glimpse into what it's really like to be a student here. 💛

We'll be hosting our next morning tea in Term 4, or if you know someone keen to explore our school sooner, send them our way to join us for a tour.

BRINGING THE BLESSING OF MUSIC// Music has a way of reaching places words can't.

We are thankful for the students from Regents Park Christian School who joined with local primary and high school students in bringing a musical performance to Auburn Hospital's palliative care unit.

MEET THE PRINCIPAL // Throwback to one of our favourite moments from 2025: our Kindergarten cohort took over the interview chair and grilled Miss Lawson, our Head of Primary, with all the big questions. 🎤

Watching it back, we're reminded of just how much heart (and curiosity) our youngest learners bring to RPCS. It's a fun look at our primary school through the eyes of the people who know it best.

Considering primary enrolment for your family? Come meet Miss Lawson and our Principal, Mr Barnard, in person this Thursday at 9:30am for our Meet the Principal event.

KINDY AT OUR PLACE // Week one of Term 3, and we asked our kindergarten students to draw what they love most about being back at school.

Two different drawings, one beautiful theme: friends, playing together.

That's what RPCS is all about — a place where every child feels they belong, right from the beginning of their schooling journey.

Know someone starting kindergarten in 2027 and beyond? Invite them to come explore RPCS at our Meet the Principal event next Thursday, 6 August, at 9.30am.
