🦷 Dental Health Week 2026 🦷

What a fantastic week we've had learning all about the importance of caring for our teeth through fun, hands-on experiences!

Throughout the week the children:
🪥 Practised brushing teeth using toothbrushes, toothpaste and even floss on our tiger and lion friends.
😁 Cleaned shaving foam "teeth" to learn the correct brushing technique.
🎨 Enjoyed water painting and dental-themed craft and colouring activities.
📚 Read stories and had conversations about healthy foods, visiting the dentist and why we brush our teeth twice a

🌧🧺 National Picnic Day at Bee Blessed Family Day Care! 🧺🌧

The children dressed up and proudly handed in their tickets to join our celebration. Although the rain kept us indoors, it didn't stop the fun!

Through imaginative play, the children created healthy meals for one another before sharing a delicious fruit platter and enjoying an indoor picnic during Playgroup. 🍎🍓🍌

Rain or shine, we love creating fun learning experiences and special memories together. 🐝💛

We have been learning about endangered animals and how we can help protect them. 🐅🦏🐢

The children explored the amazing Tiger, Black Rhino and Turtle through discussions, pictures and creative artwork activities. We talked about the importance of caring for animals, protecting their homes and being kind to our planet. 🌏

The children enjoyed expressing their ideas through art while also building fine motor skills, creativity and awareness of the world around them.

It has been wonderful seeing the children show empathy and curiosity as they learn that even small actions can help make a big difference for animals and nature. 💚

🐝 World Bee Day 🐝

This week the children have been learning all about bees and why they are so important to our world. Through craft, sensory play, discussions and hands-on activities, the children explored how bees help flowers, plants and food grow through pollination.

The children enjoyed creating bee-themed artwork, exploring our sensory trays filled with striped rice and loose parts, and learning new vocabulary connected to bees. We talked about how bees work together, make honey and help take care of the environment.

These experiences supported the children’s curiosity, fine motor skills, sensory exploration, communication and understanding of the natural world. It has been wonderful seeing the children so engaged and excited in their learning while celebrating these tiny but very important insects! 🌼🍯🐝
