Fourteen piano students from Mrs Inge Lass’s Hillcrest studio competed in the Somerset Festival for Young Performers this past weekend, with outstanding results:
Six x 1st places
Seven x 2nd places
One x 3rd place

Some of the students were performing for the first time, and all of them did the College, their families, and their piano teacher proud. Huge congratulations to all our performers!

A busy first day for choirs at the GC Eisteddfod. Congratulations to Bel Canto, conductors Dr Robert Stewart and Ms Claire Preston, and associate artist Mr Anthony Kissick. They were runner up and receiving a platinum award in the Harley Mead Memorial.

Earlier the combined Bel Canto and MANCHOIR, with conductor Dr Robert Stewart and accompanist Mr Anthony Kissick, got a gold and highly commended

The day started with Poco Voce also earning a gold award and 3rd place. Wonderful work from accompanist Ms Claire Preston and conductor Ms Kathryn George.
