From February 2026, PGL Australia will officially become The Great Aussie Bush Camp, marking the beginning of a brand new chapter for our camps.

Same camps. Same experiences. Same teams you know and trust, just with a new name as we move into the future together.

As part of this change, our socials will be moving across to The Great Aussie Bush Camp. That’s where you’ll find all the camp stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and what’s next for Campaspe Downs, Camp Rumbug and Kindilan.

PGL Kindilan will officially become part of The Great Aussie Bush Camp from February 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter! Our much-loved camps at Kindilan (QLD), Campaspe Downs (VIC) and Camp Rumbug (VIC) will continue running the same amazing experiences they always have and remain committed to delivering quality outdoor education, just with a new name.

As part of the transition, we’ll be moving across to The Great Aussie Bush Camp socials, where the journey continues with more stories from camp, behind-the-scenes moments, and the next chapter of adventure. We’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to share it with you.

At PGL, we’re all about helping chidren play, learn and grow through the power of outdoor education. 💪

We acknowledge that play is how children learn, grow, connect and heal, and that every child has the right to play - no matter who they are or where they live.

You can help celebrate the day with ‘A Minute of Loudness’, where children are encouraged to share ideas on how to make Australia an even better place for all children, especially when it comes to play.😀

We have today completed the sale of the Australian side of our business to another leading Australian camp provider, The Great Aussie Bush Camp . And like us, they are committed to providing young people with transformational experiences through the power of outdoor adventure.

The Great Aussie Bush Camp stands proudly as a leader in outdoor education across Australia, deeply rooted in their local economies and communities for over 20 years. As one of the largest outdoor education providers in the country, they welcome around 65,000 children and teachers annually across four locations in NSW.

This has not been an easy decision for the owners of PGL Australia, PGL Beyond, to make, but as the UK’s leading outdoor education provider the decision has been made to concentrate resources on a significant number of growth opportunities closer to home.

We are managing the transition with transparency and care and hope that all our colleagues will continue to thrive with The Great Aussie Bush Camp.

♻️ We are in love with this recycling initiative from Send On ♻️

In order for us to ensure safety remains our number one priority, gear like ropes and harnesses need to be replaced regularly. Instead of letting these goods go to landfill, we’re working with Send On to give these items another life!

Tegan is the brain child behind this brilliant organisation and has cleverly created this bag (and many others like it) from some harnesses we donated recently.

Safety + upcycling = winning combination 💕
