What an incredible Under 8's Day! 💙💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and visited the Jabiru team at Under 8's Day! It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces throughout the day.

Our slime station was a massive hit, with a huge line of excited children waiting to create colourful slime with Miss Emma and Mr Leo. Meanwhile, Miss Alysha and Miss Dove kept busy creating some amazing face painting designs that brought plenty of smiles!

We'd like to thank everyone for your patience while waiting in line. Your kindness and enthusiasm made the day so special.

It was wonderful to connect with so many families, and we can't wait to see you all again at our next community event! 💛💙💚

Service Leadership Update⭐️

we are very excited to share a little leadership update with our Jabiru Families!

Please join us in welcoming Ashley into the Role as Service Manager and Bram into the Role of Educational Leader.

Ashley is excited to officially step into the Service Manager Position and continue building on the wonderful relationships already established with our children, families, school and wider community. She looks forward to leading the service and continuing to create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging.

Bram will be stepping into the Educational Leader role, supporting our team to continue developing meaning, child-led programs and experiences to reflect their interests, voices and learning of our children. Brams's creativity, initiative and passion for programming will be a wonderful asset to our service.

We are both incredibly excited for this next chapter, most importantly continuing to make Jabiru Scenic Shores a place where our children love to be! 🐝💛

We can't believe we're already in Week 5 of Term 3! This week our Under the Sea journey continues with the inspiring story of Moana. Throughout the week, children will explore the message that everyone has the ability to be courageous, believe in themselves, stay true to who they are, and help protect the environment.

💃 Dance Incursion This Tuesday!

This Tuesday during After School Care, we're excited to welcome our Dance Incursion from 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm. Children will enjoy an afternoon of movement, music, creativity, and fun while building confidence and teamwork through dance.

We look forward to another fantastic week filled with creativity, exploration, friendships, and plenty of smiles. Thank you for your continued support—we can't wait to see what adventures this week brings!

🌊🐠 Jabiru Term 3 – Week 3 🐙🐚

We can't believe we're already in Week 3 of Term 3! Our Under the Sea theme continues to come to life, with the room transforming each week through the children's incredible artwork, learning experiences, and discoveries. We can't wait to share more of their amazing creations with you as our ocean adventure continues! 🌊✨

⚽ Cube Sports Returns!
This Tuesday during After School Care, we'll be welcoming Cube Sports back for our second session. Last week's incursion was a huge success, with so many children enthusiastically participating, building their teamwork skills, and having an absolute blast. We can't wait for another afternoon full of fun, movement, and excitement!

🌊🐠 Jabiru Scenic Shores – Week 2 Program & Menu 🐠🌊

Happy Monday, Jabiru families! We are so excited for another fun-filled week of learning, play and adventure! 💙

📖 Book of the Week: The Rainbow Fish 🌈🐟
This week we'll be exploring the beautiful story of The Rainbow Fish through a variety of creative, hands-on experiences. Together we'll be learning about kindness, friendship, sharing, inclusion and celebrating what makes each of us unique. We can't wait to see all of the wonderful artwork and activities the children create throughout the week!

⭐ Exciting News! ⭐
Our very first Cube Sports session kicks off this Tuesday from 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The children will have the opportunity to participate in a range of exciting games and sporting activities designed to build teamwork, confidence, resilience and, most importantly, have lots of fun! We are looking forward to seeing everyone get involved and enjoy this fantastic new experience.

🌟 Winter Vacation Care Recap! 🌟

What an incredible two weeks we've had at Jabiru Scenic Shores! 💙 A huge thank you to all of our wonderful children and families for making this vacation care such a fun, exciting, and memorable experience.

We were so lucky to enjoy some amazing incursion days right here at Jabiru! 🎮🐠 The children had an absolute blast when the Gaming Van rolled in, giving everyone the chance to enjoy a range of interactive games with their friends. We also loved our Aquatic Exploration incursion, where the children had the unique opportunity to get up close with fascinating marine creatures, including starfish, sea cucumbers, and even a baby shark! It was an unforgettable hands-on learning experience that sparked so much curiosity and excitement.

Our excursion days were just as exciting! 🍿✨ We headed to the cinemas to watch Toy Story 5, sharing plenty of laughs (and popcorn!), before bouncing our way through an action-packed day at Bounce. It was fantastic to see the children challenging themselves, encouraging one another, and having so much fun together.

Throughout the holidays, one of our biggest focuses was being a good friend. We encouraged the children to show kindness, respect, inclusion, and teamwork in everything they did. It was wonderful to see so many beautiful friendships grow, children helping one another, and everyone working together to create a positive and welcoming environment.

Thank you again to all of our amazing families for choosing to spend your school holidays with us. Your support means so much, and it's a privilege to create these memorable experiences with your children.

We hope everyone has a fantastic term ahead, and we already can't wait to see you all at our next Vacation Care! 💙🎉

Ahoy!!

Our Pirate Day was full of creativity as the children designed and built their very own pirate boats using recycled materials from cardboard boxes to string to everything in between ⚓️🚢. The children’s imagination came to life.

We think the educators had just as much from creating the ships as much as the children did 🤣. It’s amazing to see how everyday recycled items can be transformed into incredible pirate masterpieces.

Great job to our little pirates 🏴‍☠️
