Today we took the opportunity to explore our Christmas bows by using them to paint with and then we used several to explore our empty full concept with Christmas buttons and tongs
This encourages our hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, imagination, persistence, colour recognition and turn taking skills as we used the tongs to fill up the Christmas baskets and then emptying them.

It’s a dinosaur kinda day!
Taking the opportunity to enhance our current interest in dinosaurs 🦕 today we chose to display our memory recall and age appropriate attention span to explore a variety of dinosaur based experiences including our Dino matching game which encouraged us to transfer knowledge from one setting to another using a memory match activity.

Enhancing our shape recall and colour awareness we explored a variety of colour/shape match activities which also encourages our persistence, trial and error and fine motor skills as we created objects and animals using the different coloured and sized stones or shapes.

We also have a huge interest in construction experiences at the moment including our Disney interest we used our wooden Minnie Mouse blocks to create independently and with our Peers.

We have had a great week so far
