Redbank Plains Early Education Centre

Redbank Plains Early Education Centre Welcome to Redbank Plains Early Education Centre & Pre-School. Our Centre has been rated EXCEEDING in the National Quality Standard.

We cater for 97 children aged from birth to school age, including before and after school care. Redbank Plains Early Education Centre and Preschool is located approximately a 1-minute walk from Redbank Plains School and 2.2km from Redbank Plains Town Square. Our locality makes us very convenient to families who work in the area. Our aim is to provide the highest standard of care to you, the famili

es, as well as to the children who are within our care. Our Centre celebrates diversity, welcoming families with different cultures and backgrounds. We are committed to the implementation of the National Early Years Learning Framework and operate an Emergent Curriculum. Our program is based on the individual needs of the children in our care. Our program is balanced and developmentally appropriate. It has variations, providing for a wide range of individual experiences. These experiences give the children the opportunity to make choices and take on new challenges. Our centre programs are based on the individual child, thus ensuring it does not exclude any one child. Our goal is to inspire delight, curiosity, and inquiry in the classroom. Our Centre is pleased to be operating a Queensland Government approved Kindergarten Program with a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. This program is aimed at preparing our pre-prep children for primary school. Our Centre implements the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline and focuses on building upon childrenโ€™s learning and development including literacy and numeracy skills as well as exploring the foundations of mathematics and science. We are committed to developing and building on community partnerships with local schools, Teachers and families to ensure children are being well prepared for their school years. We are proud to be a recognised Nature Play QLD Education Provider. Our Centre runs fortnightly Bush Kindy Sessions at the council land adjacent to the Centre. As part of our Bush Kindy Program, we learn all about the world around us and connect with nature whilst always acknowledging the traditional landowners โ€“ the Yaggera people. Children are given the chance to explore and learn new things, climbing, running and inadvertently expanding upon their gross motor skills. Exploring the plants, trees, rocks and water creates spontaneous conversation, interactions and valuable risk-taking opportunities. The sessions are unstructured and initiated by the children, to inspire problem solving and promote self-confidence. Contact our Nominated Supervisor today to find out more or arrange a tour of our Centre! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Our little toddler friends are enjoying a lovely group time together in this cosy outdoor space. Gathered closely on soft blankets and colourful mats, the children are happily exploring, playing, and interacting with one another.

The warm sunlight, natural surroundings, and comfortable setting create a beautiful atmosphere for connection, discovery, and shared moments.

๐Ÿ’› R U OK?DAY ๐Ÿ’›

Today is a reminder that a simple conversation can make a real difference.

At QCCS, we encourage everyone to take a moment to check in with those around themโ€”our colleagues, friends and loved onesโ€”and genuinely ask, โ€œAre you OK?โ€

You donโ€™t need to be an expert to support someone. Sometimes, simply listening and being there is enough.

๐Ÿ’› Ask R U OK?
๐Ÿ‘‚ Listen with care
๐Ÿค Encourage action
๐Ÿ“… Check in again

Letโ€™s continue creating caring and connected communities where everyone feels seen, heard and supported. Not just today, but every day.

Our little explorers had so much fun discovering the globe and finding Australia.
Curious little fingers pointed, turned and explored while big questions popped up. We talked about where our educators come from and discovered that our world is full of wonderful places and people. This real-life resource encouraged conversations, new vocabulary, curiosity and connection. It also helped children celebrate diversity and develop a sense of belonging. Who knew one little globe could inspire such a BIG adventure.

๐ŸŒพ Sandy Play Adventures! Our Senior Kindy friends were busy in the sandpit today, scooping, pouring, and happily transferring sand in their cosy rhythm. Their pretend play took off too, with โ€œold coffees,โ€ sandy treats, and lots of giggles shared between friends. Did you know? Indoor sandpits create a calm, sensory rich space where children can explore, imagine, and self regulate, all while staying comfy and connected in their familiar environment. A simple, sandy morning filled with imagination and joyful play.

What a beautiful morning with our busy little friends! As we explored the gardens, the children spotted a tiny ladybug hiding among the leaves. With excited giggles, they carefully used the bug catcher to take a closer look. Their faces lit up with wonder as the ladybug crawled around. Itโ€™s amazing how one tiny creature can bring so much joy, curiosity, and connection. Our morning was filled with wonder, laughter, and magical discoveries.๐Ÿž๐Ÿ’ž

Our Kindergarten children had a wonderful morning at Bush Kindy, putting their new sporting equipment to the test.

And just when we thought the morning couldnโ€™t get any better, we had some very special two-legged visitors hop on by.

Thereโ€™s nothing quite like learning, playing and exploring in nature. ๐ŸŒณโœจ What a beautiful way to spend the morning!
