Recently, our St Ann’s School community came together to celebrate the Blessing and Opening of Stage 4.

It was a wonderful occasion with students, staff, families, parishioners and special guests joining together for prayer, music, readings and the blessing of our beautiful new facilities.

Our guests had the opportunity to tour our new building and see the exciting spaces where our students will learn, grow and create many special memories.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this special celebration possible and to all those who have supported the Stage 4 project. We look forward to all the learning, achievements and memories that will take place in these wonderful new facilities.

This project has been supported by the Australian Government through the Capital Grants Program.

💙 National Child Protection Week 2026 💙

Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversation to Action.

Talking about child safety is important, but it’s what we do with those conversations that can make a real difference. Together, we can create communities where every child feels heard, valued, safe and supported.

Turning conversation into action, not just this week, but all year round.

💛 R U OK? Day 💛

R U OK? Day is a reminder to check in with the people around us and take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” Sometimes, a simple conversation, a listening ear or a shared moment can make a real difference.

This year, St Ann’s embraced the spirit of R U OK? Day by bringing staff together for a morning tea — creating an opportunity to connect, have a chat and enjoy some time together.

It was a lovely way to encourage connection, wellbeing and open conversations within the St Ann’s community.

Join us in prayer for the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who guide, support, and inspire with love and strength.

This week, St Ann’s was proud to attend the BCE Western Corridor Cultural Education Day for 2027, alongside many BCE primary schools from across our cluster.

It was a wonderful day of participation, learning and connection, with our students embracing the opportunity to meet students from other BCE schools, make new friends and build meaningful connections.

Our students also had the opportunity to connect with the Deadly Ngutana Lui and BCE First Nations support staff, learning, sharing and celebrating culture together.

We are so proud of the way our students engaged with the day and embraced every opportunity to learn, connect and grow. A big thank you to St Augustine's College for hosting us.

Today we were delighted to welcome fathers, grandfathers and special father figures to St Ann’s for our Father’s Day Liturgy. Together, we gathered in prayer and thanksgiving to celebrate the love, guidance and support these important people provide in the lives of our students. Through prayer, reflection and song, we recognised the many ways fathers and father figures nurture, encourage and inspire their families each day.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Dancris Gloria, who shared an inspiring message with our students and families. Dancris reminded us of the importance of a simple but powerful piece of advice: always be kind. His words encouraged us to consider how small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact on those around us and help build a caring and compassionate community.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the families and businesses who generously donated prizes for our Father’s Day Raffle. Your support helped make the raffle a great success. Thank you also to everyone who purchased raffle tickets. Your generosity not only supported this special event but also contributes to opportunities and resources that benefit our school community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special celebration. We wish all fathers, grandfathers and father figures a happy and blessed Father’s Day and thank them for the positive difference they make in the lives of our children each and every day.
