Occasionally we are fortunate enough to have brides send in some pics for us to enjoy. We consider ourselves lucky when they do. Wedding dresses are our only form of fundraising so it's a bit of a big deal when a lady finds one and sends pics in. Congratulations on your big day Allanah. You looked just beautiful. Thankyou to the donor for the opportunity to let Allanah find her dream gown.

Good morning everyone. I can't delay this announcement any longer. We are still waiting for the advertising to be completed but figured we would try to sort some more definate details before we do that. Anyone that knows me, knows I'm a serious car enthusiast. Because of this I have been asked to help organise a family fund day. I've managed to sort a car meet, food vans, merch stalls and most importantly (I'm not biased, honestly) A huge gift hamper raffle for us to raise funds for new custom steel racks to be welded up. We have tried doing this previously and after raising enough, the person we got actually ghosted us and took off with the funds. We still haven't been able to locate him. But enough of that. After 9 years our old wooden racks are now held together with brackets, tape, bolts and even the trusty zip ties. Time for a change and update. We will be making an event up soon. In saying this we have a few requests. We would love to call on you, our supporters, for this. Please can you put the word out now to any businesses that might be willing to donate to the hamper. We would love items that might help families make life a bit easier. Maybe some Coles or Woolies cards. If there are any businesses interested in donating some gifts we would be so incredibly grateful. The Family fun day is on September 26 so we won't be open that day. We already have vouchers from Johnny Voodoo's Barber Shop, Game Over Brisbane there has been alot of merchandise packs promised from various businesses but not yet received. If you are after any other details before the announcement is made please don't hesitate to message and we can organise things. Please, if you can, help us to get this done so we can stay around alot longer.. Thankyou everyone..

Good evening everyone. I hope you all had a great week this week. Now we are getting into full swing for formals we are absolutely desperate for SMALL sized men's suits. Anything sized 32" jacket or 30" pants or lower please. We have none left. We also have no black men's shoes. All of our are brown. Please if you can find it in your heart to help us out with these we would be so grateful. As usual black is the most requested but any of these sizes would be incredible. Thankyou..

So, we did a thing. We sent all our excess stock down a place by the name of Young in NSW to start up the same concept and look after the country kiddos. Our priority is to encourage students to finish schooling. We have proven over the last 9 years that our concept is successful. I am so proud and eager to see the work Trisha and her ladies do for this important cause. A Massive thankyou to Aramex in Brisbane for supporting this and transporting so much. You guys are legends. Congratulations Trish and best of luck

A massive thankyou to the incredible Victor White. This gentleman not only fixed my big 14kg washing machine some time ago for the shop gowns but has also donated a bar fridge to the shop. This way we can keep emergency water cold as we have had a couple of incidents where students or family members get a bit overwhelmed or anxious. We can keep little bottles of water in it for that. Plus my volunteers can keep their water cold. Thankyou Victor. You are a blessing.

Good Monday morning everyone. We have also put in place a couple of rules we feel will help the workload that has also been huge in the past few years. As all our gowns are cleaned before we offer then we have started the 'No make-up 'rule. PLEASE don't have any makeup on when coming in to try gowns on. We have had to take so many home and rewash them after girls have worn makeup and rubbed it on the clean gowns. We will have micellar water, hypoallergenic, makeup remover wipes available to use. Also reinforcing the NO FOOD OR DRINK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES rule will be monitored. We have 2 big pink posters on the floor stating this but people still insist on allowing their toddlers lollypops and drink bottles. Not to mention the mums that want to sip coffees... Please don't.
