This Thursday is Jeans for Genes Day!

We invite you to dress your child(ren) in jeans and donate either a gold coin on the day, or by using the link below.

A special announcement from Jeans for Genes Australia is that all electronic donations from 8am 6 August will be DOUBLED!

This means $1 = $2 to help find treatments and cures for the 1 in 20 kids facing a birth defect or genetic disease.

🦁 A Special Visit from Bravehearts! 💜

This morning at Smart Start Early Learning Centre, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jessica and Ditto the Lion from Bravehearts for their wonderful Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure Show on our Senior Side!

Through fun songs, dancing, and interactive activities, our Children learnt important personal safety messages in an engaging and age appropriate way. The show helped Children build confidence in understanding body safety, recognising trusted adults, and knowing it’s always okay to speak up if something doesn’t feel right.

A huge thank you to Jessica and Ditto for delivering such an important program in a fun, positive, and memorable way. Our Children had an amazing time and loved meeting Ditto!

We were also delighted to welcome Families whose Children weren’t attending the Centre today but joined us especially for the show. Thank you for coming along and sharing this valuable learning experience with us all ✨

Tonight we were invited to a Prep Information Session with our good friends at Redbank Plains State School

We have enjoyed many, many years of a great relationship and love to see how successful our Children and Families transition because of this.

TOMORROW the 24th of July is National Pyjama Day! We will be raising funds and awareness for Children in foster Care as we wear our Pjs to School.

Wiggly worm juice for sale! 🪱

The Kindy Children have been working hard on curating our worm farm and now we have worm juice ready for your garden! Worm juice is a highly potent, 100% organic liquid fertiliser and soil conditioner that supercharges plant growth, repels pests, and builds a resilient soil ecosystem!

We will be selling the bottles for $5 to raise money to help save the Sumatran Tigers from going extinct. If we raise $118 it help funds trail cameras to keep them safe! This is our goal.

In Junior Kindy we have been inquiring about birds and have been exploring creativity. Today we set-up a multimodal art studio for the Children to paint and explore 💚
