What a spectacular morning we had today in the caterpillar room!
We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Stories in the Street for a special interactive session that completely captivated the children. We kicked things off with lively songs. The children eagerly clapped and sang along, The excitement grew even more when the colorful puppets made their appearance. The children thoroughly enjoyed interacting with them, which sparked fantastic imaginative conversations and social bonding among peers.To wrap up our wonderful session, we sat down together to read a group favorite: That’s Not My Dog. The children loved pointing at the pages, anticipating the repetitive text, and exploring the different textures.

Today in the Caterpillar Room, we made doughnuts using shaving foam and sprinkles. This sensory activity helped our friends develop their fine motor skills as they scooped, spread, and decorated their creations. It also encouraged creativity, imaginative play, and language development as the children talked about their doughnuts and shared ideas with one another. The activity provided opportunities to strengthen social skills through turn-taking, cooperation, and engaging in conversations with their peers.

🌿🔥 A Week of Wonder Begins! 🐞✨
This week, our preschool room has transformed into a magical camping adventure where imaginations can run wild!

As the children step into our cosy campsite, they'll become little explorers, searching high and low for bugs hiding amongst the grass, logs, and leaves. With magnifying glasses in hand, they'll investigate tiny creatures, ask curious questions, and discover the amazing world of nature.

Our glowing campfire invites everyone to gather together for stories, songs, laughter, and conversations with friends. Inside our tent, children can relax, share adventures, and enjoy quiet moments while pretending they're camping beneath the trees.

As the day winds down, we'll imagine gazing up at a sky full of twinkling stars, talking about the moon, constellations, and all the wonderful things we might discover on a camping trip.

Through play, exploration, and shared experiences, our preschoolers will build friendships, spark their curiosity, and create beautiful memories together.

We can't wait to see where their imaginations take them this week! 💚🏕️✨

This morning, our Caterpillars had a wonderful time making a cake together! They enjoyed measuring, mixing, and taking turns as they explored early cooking skills, teamwork, and following instructions. It was a fun, hands-on learning experience, and everyone was excited to see the finished result!
