For those who are unsure what Family Day Care is.
I am a self employed Family Day Care Educator, providing a quality childcare service..
We are a Home based, small group (4 children total of 7 including before and after schoolcare) CHILDCARE.
To access the ccs we have to be registered with a Scheme, who monitor and provide us with support. Visiting us regularly, 4-6 weekly, more if we need it. This ensures that we are providing the best possible care, program and service.
We are self employed, pay our own taxes, we don't get sick pay or holiday pay. We are Police Checked and all have Working with Children status, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylactic trained and are all qualified or are studying for CHILDCARE qualification.
We pay our own insurance and buy our own resources. We don't have big unlimited budgets, BUT the money we earn stays within our community, we shop in local supermarkets and stores.
Following the same stringent regulations as CHILDCARE centres, with the assistance of schemes we are monitored regularly and provide quality CHILDCARE in our homes.
Your child receives a lot of one-on-one attention from their educator, because of the 1 educator to 4 children ratio we can do this. Your Family becomes part of our family and often stay friends for many years to come. Research shows that children benefit from consistency of adults in their lives.
We don't have the big advertising budgets of centres, we cant afford tv, newspaper advertising. We are small Home based businesses, providing a quality option for CHILDCARE.
