This might just be the most common driver mistake amateurs make.
If the hips shift to a point where they are behind the head, you will not be able to swing from the inside...
Of course there is a point to how much movement and I’m definitely exaggerating a little here to show patterns.
But you for sure when driving the ball want your head behind your hips.
Squared off release.. I’m not saying it’s better or worse but if you want it this is what you need to look for.
Keeping the club on plane is important ✅
I like to use Rickie as an example here because he has had significant change in the way he works his swing since he came on tour to now with plenty of success!
for drawing in plane lines, follow this:
1️⃣ draw a line along the shaft of the golf club from the hosel all the way through the top of the grip.
2️⃣ take another line and draw it from the hosel of the golf club all the way through to your top of shoulders

1️⃣ Shift left (front side)
2️⃣ Tilt the shoulders
3️⃣ Turn through
