Tenshi-Do Martial Arts Karate School & Agility Centre is aimed at teaching anyone who wants to gain self confidence, self discipline and self defence skills. The style of Martial Art is called Sh*to-Ryu Karate-do. It is one of the 4 main styles to come form Okinawa Japan, and the one made famous by "the karate kid" in the 80's. The syllabus that has been created has adapted a practical sense to to

day's society. The kids classes enhance their gymnastics skills so to better defend themselves from bullies and falls while the adult classes adapts a more traditional side, encouraging self awareness and self confidence. Everyone is different and my aim is to enhance and bring out the natural skills you have locked away. I invite you down to come and look at the facility. There is a free trial for all classes. Congratulations to everyone who competed at the Lion Bushido tournament on Sunday.

Our club placed second for overall points for the day and we only had 9 competitors. Well done everyone.

We had several first places and dominated the traditional weapons event which I am extremely proud of.

Hi Parents,

There is an upcoming tournament on the 30th of August at the Knox Netball Centre in Ferntree Gully.

It is a great way to have fun and enjoy the karate world.

We have several students competing as well as your child's instructors Gracie and Callum.

I will also be competing in Kata, Weapons and Sparring.

If you would like to compete or just come and cheer us on let me know.

That's right. We are back for term 3!

We are about to hold our annual Movie Time in the Dojo. The movie showing this year will be Shrek. (Such a classic).

This can be a parent free night - So book yourself out Mum and Dad or you can stay and enjoy the movie with us. All siblings are welcome to attend as well.

This is a FREE EVENT to attend, however, you can purchase a Dinner package of 2 slices of PIZZA, 1 bag of POPCORN, 1 cup of LOLLIES and A DRINK for $15.00

Here is how the night runs.

4:00 pm: The doors open for parents who would like to drop off their children for the night.
5:00 pm: All Pizzas will be delivered to eat BEFORE THE MOVIE STARTS.
6:00 pm: The Movie will start and popcorn will be handed out
6:45 pm: Intermission - Small clean up and Lolly Bags handed out.
8:00 pm: The movie should finish a little beforehand and all children should be picked up at this time.

* All Pizza's and Food must be PREPAID BEFORE THURSDAY THE 6th OF AUGUST.
* You must submit which pizza slices you would like from these 3 choices
- HAWAIIAN - MARGHERITA - PEPPERONI -
* We order our pizza’s from The Rolling Dough in Sunshine. Please feel free to look at their menu for ingredients.

This is a great event and we look forward to putting on a great show for everyone.

Please feel free to bring beanbags and cushions, sleeping bags, pillows - anything to keep you warm.
I will lay out the Gymnastics equipment for seats for everyone.

If you do not make it for the PIZZA you can purchase the POPCORN AND LOLLY BAGS SEPARATE on the Night.

* Bags of Popcorn can be purchased for $2.00
* Bags of Lollies can be purchased for $2.00
* Pop Tops can be purchased for $2.00

Any child dropped off must be picked up by 8:00 pm please.

Congratulations to our students who graded in the weekend.

Such an amazing performance by everyone. I know some students recieved their fist high distinction medal. How proud they must feel.

Thank you to all the mums and dads for bringing your children this term. I look forward to giving your children new challenges in term 3.
