Aaah love me a bit of Process Art to supplement a drawing lesson. You’re looking at a directed Seahorse drawing lesson turned free choice Seahorse / sea dragon drawing with watercolour, coloured pencil and “blown liquid watercolour”. Dreamy. My students really loved the freedom of this activity and were incredible engaged for 1.5 hrs straight.

Another beautiful day with St Catherine’s girls running a one-off special Nature Day Art Camp. Such a fun day, such a lovely bunch of kids.

I am always amazed how well children respond to natural materials. We made flower journal/presses and collected samples on a neighborhood walk. The girls LOVED it and they did a great job of creating observation drawings of their samples and other flowers. Lovely!
