In this short course Shoko Hazama will treat you to a delightful traditional⁠ Japanese cultural experience. ⁠
You will learn some basic Japanese etiquette and words/sentences useful in the restaurant and dining scene. Followed by a demonstration preparing Miso soup.⁠
You will then participate in a hands on sushi rolling class. The evening will⁠ culminate in a Japanese supper enjoying Shoko’s Miso soup along with your hand rolled sushi and a glass of traditional Sake while you practice your Japanese conversation learnt earlier in the evening.⁠
During this short course you will receive handouts with the recipes and Japanese etiquette and language taught in the class. This short course is part of Kenvale College's short course "Cultural Supper Series".⁠
