👨‍🏫Here is a breakdown of why this "art" is so beneficial and how to do it correctly:👩‍🏫

The Mechanics of Why it Works🎙️

Spinal Alignment: Lying on a flat, firm surface allows the vertebrae to lengthen and the shoulders to drop back naturally. This eliminates the "slump" or the "military posture" that many singers struggle with.

• Deactivating Secondary Muscles: When you are upright, your neck and back muscles are working to keep you from falling over. On the floor, those muscles can "turn off," preventing them from interfering with your larynx.

• Gravity and the Diaphragm: In this position, the internal organs gently press against the diaphragm. When you inhale, you have to move that weight, which provides natural resistance and helps you feel the 360-degree expansion of the lower ribs and back
