A Huge Thank You to Walsh’s Hotel Queanbeyan!

Queanbeyan South Public School would like to extend a very special thank you to Walsh’s Hotel Queanbeyan for generously donating $150 worth of vouchers (2 × $75 vouchers) to be used as prizes in our Father’s Day raffle/lucky door prize at our Father’s Day Breakfast this Thursday, 3 September, from 8:30am.

A big thank you to Mark and the entire team at Walsh’s Hotel for your generosity and support of our school community. We truly appreciate your contribution and your support in helping us make our Father’s Day celebration even more special for our families.

Come along, grab a coffee and pastry, and enjoy some quality time with the kids before the school day gets underway.

We’ll also have Lucky Door Prizes up for grabs!
Please note: lucky door prizes are for dads onsite when its drawn!

It’s a great opportunity to come together, celebrate the amazing dads and father figures in our school community, and start Father’s Day celebrations early!

Please note the breakfast is for the adults.

Our 2026 Colour Run will officially open for registrations on September 21st, with the big event happening on Friday, November 13th!

Want to be part of the action and help out on the day? We’d love to have you involved!

We’ll be going through all things Colour Run at our next P&C meeting:

We’ll be talking about everything from volunteer roles and colour stations to water stations, setup, pack-down, obstacles and all the fun in between!

Whether you can help for an hour or stay for the whole day, every helping hand makes a difference!

Colour Run course & obstacles
Water & colour stations

Volunteer roles &Sign ups
Set-up & pack-down
Teacher sliming… and so much more!

Whether you can spare an hour, a few hours, or help out for the whole event, we’d LOVE to have you involved! ❤️

The kids absolutely LOVE seeing their mum, dad, grandparent or another special person in their life out on the course, chasing them with water and colour! It makes the day even more exciting and creates memories they’ll talk about long after the colour has washed off!

Pre-ordering means one less thing to remember and guarantees your child will have a special gift ready for Father's Day. Please note that the contents of the gift bags cannot be changed.

Gift bags will be ready for collection when students visit the Father's Day Stall with their class.

Don't forget—our Father's Day Stall will also be packed with plenty of amazing gifts for students to browse and purchase on the day!
