💙BLUES FEVER has hit Mary Immaculate! 💙
The excitement is building as we eagerly await Game 2 of the State of Origin! Students and staff are proudly showing their blue spirit and cheering on the mighty NSW Blues.

🏆Congratulations to our Week 9 Merit Award recipients 🏆
Every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Catholic Social Teaching reminds us that everyone has fundamental rights, and with those rights come responsibilities: to care for one another, stand up for justice, and contribute to the common good.
As we celebrate our Feast Day on 26 June, may we be inspired to live out both our rights and our responsibilities in service of others. Please continue donating items for our hygiene pack baskets in classrooms to support the Vinnie's Winter Appeal and help those in our community who need it most.

What a wonderful day at our Infants Athletics Carnival! 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏅
Our students showed great enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the day. We are so proud of the effort and positive attitudes displayed by all participants.
A huge congratulations to our Year 6 students who lead the activities and gave support to the infants students. Well done!
Thank you to our families who came out to support by cheering and spectating.
As part of our learning about the Catholic Social Teaching principle of the Preferential Option for the Poor, our children are exploring how we can show God's love through care and compassion for those in need.
We warmly invite families to donate toiletries that our children can use to create hygiene packs on our Feast Day. Donation baskets can be found in the children's classrooms.
Thank you for supporting this special opportunity for our children to put faith into action and share kindness with others.

This winter, Mary Immaculate is proud to support the Vinnie’s Winter Appeal by collecting items to create hygiene packs for those experiencing homelessness.
For many in our local community, access to basic essentials like soap, toothpaste, and socks is not a given, it’s a gift. These small items can make a huge difference in restoring dignity, hope, and comfort during the coldest months.
If your family is in a position to help, we invite you to donate any items from our suggested list. Collection baskets are located in each child’s classroom.
Let’s work together to bring warmth, kindness, and care to those who need it most. 💙
With the launch of our Vinnies Winter Appeal today, our students will spend some time reflecting on various Catholic Social Teachings. Among these, we will focus on the principle of Solidarity. This beautiful teaching reminds us that we are all part of one human family, inviting us to walk alongside and care for one another, especially those who are most vulnerable.
Inspired by Jesus’ words, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40), students will reflect on human dignity, a preferential option for the poor, and our call to serve others. Through prayer, reflection, and learning, students will explore how we can live the Gospel and make a positive difference in our community and beyond through faith in action, putting the message of solidarity into practice with compassion, service, and care for others. 💙✝️

Our wonderful Kindergarten students had an exciting and interactive Religious Education lesson this week for their unit 'Who is my neighbour?' To help bring our current unit to life, the teachers performed a special role-play of the story of Jesus washing the Disciples Feet (John 13:3-5,12-15).
It sparked some beautiful conversations. It was incredibly heartwarming to hear the children relate this sacred scripture to their own lives. They shared wonderful ideas about how they can be a "good neighbour" every day, whether it's sharing toys on the playground, helping a friend who is sad, or welcoming someone new to join their games.
We are so proud of how our youngest learners are already showing so much kindness, empathy, and love for others! ❤️ 🤝
