अष्ट्रेलियामा नेपाली विद्यार्थी चौथो स्थानमा अष्ट्रेलियामा अध्ययनका लागि विद्यार्थी भिसा पाउने देशहरुमा नेपाल चौथो स्थानमा परेको छ । अष्ट्रेलिया सरकारको पछिल्लो तथ्यांक अनुसार चीन, भारत र ब्राजिलपछि नेपालका विद्यार्थीहरु अध्ययनका लागि अष्ट्रेलिया सरकारको चौथो प्राथमिकतामा परेका हुन् ।

अस्ट्रेलियामा Nursing नै किन ? Why Nursing in Australia?

अस्ट्रेलियामा Nursing "High Demand" भएको पेशा/Job हो। त्येसैले तुलनात्मक रुपमा Nursing काम पाउन सजिलो पेशा हो। त्येसैले अस्ट्रेलियाको Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane देखि Regional Area मा पनि नेपालीहरु Registered Nurse को रुपमा काम गर्छन।

अस्ट्रेलियाको "Average Life Expectancy" नै 82 वर्ष रहेको र अलि असक्त हुने बित्तिकै Nursing Home मा जाने चलनले गर्दा धेरै Nursing Home हरुलाई Nurse/Assistant in Nurse को आवसेक पर्छ।

त्येस्तै अस्ट्रेलिया अति बिकसत राष्ट्र भए पनि अझ पनि प्रयाप्त Hospital/Health Facilities को कमी रहेको छ। यसैगरी यस्ता Health Institutions मा काम गर्ने Nurse हरुको कमी भएकोले Nursing पेशा "High Demand" मा रहेको छ।

त्येसैले Nursing सधैजसो Migration को SOL List मा पर्ने गरेको छ र Nursing पढेर सिदयाईसके पछि PR पाउन अस्ट्रेलियामा अति सजिलो छ।

यस्तै कारणले गर्दा अस्ट्रेलियाको Nursing पेशामा महिलाहरु मात्र नभएर पुरुस हरुको पनि ठुलै Interest/सहभागिता रहेको छ। अर्थात् धेरै नेपाली पुरुषहरु पहिलेदेखि नै "Nursing" काम गरिरहेका छन् र धेरै नेपाली केटाहरु Nursing पढि पनि रहेका छन्।

यसो हुनुको मुख्य कारण, एकचोटी अस्ट्रेलियामा Nursing Field मा Assistant in Nursing वा Nursing को काम गरेर Experience भइसकेपछि, करिब करिब कहिलेयै बेरोजगार बस्नु पर्दैन।

यसैगरि Nursing Field मा कमाई पनि राम्रै छ। Graduate Nurse को सुरुको "Level 1" Basic कमाई नै करीब ६० हजार जति हुन्छ। यसबाहेक, Overtime, Public holiday आदीको गरेर कमाई ७० हजार देखि ९० हजार सजिलै पुग्न सक्छ।
त्येस्तै Nursing Field मा धेरै नेपालीहरुले थप प्रगति पनि गरेका छन्। नेपालीहरु Nursing Manager, Clinical Manager, Supervisor आदी तह वा सोभन्दा माथिल्लो Level मा काम गर्छन जसको तलब Yearly ९० हजार देखि १ लाख २० हजार भन्दा माथिसम्म पनि रहेको छ।

PR पाउन सजिलो - Nursing पढेर PR पाउन पनि तुलनात्मक रुपमा निकै सजिलो रहेको छ। 2 Years पढाई सककाए पछि, IELTS मा 7 Each ल्याएर Nursing को Registration लिएपछि 60 Points पुग्ने बित्तिकै Australia को PR पक्का हुन्छ।

Australian PR सब Points कै चककर हो। PR पाउन कम्तीमा पनि 60 Points चाहिंनछ। तर कुनैकुनै State मा Applicants/Competition बढि भएको, वा कतिपय Profession को लागी Minimum 65 देखि 70 Points चाहिन सकछ।

यानिकी PR को Application गर्दा तपाईको उमेर 25 देखि 32 छ भने 30 Points हुन्छ, 25 भन्दा कम र 32 भन्दा बढ़ी छ भने 25 Points मात्र हुन्छ।

ABCD को IELTS मा Each Band 7 छ, तयसैले IELTS बाट उहाँलाई 10 Points आउँछ।

IT, Accounting र Engineering को लागी 10 months को Professional Year Course हुनछ। यसको $4500-$12000 पर्छ।

ABCD Sydney मा बसने र Sydney बाट Accounting PR मा Apply गर्दा 60 Points ले PR हुनदैन भन्ने थाहा थियो तयसैले Professional Year पनि गरि सक्नु भयेको छ।

ABCD ले आहिले सम्म Accounting मा काम पाईसक्नु भएको छैन तयसैले Employment बाट वहाँलाई No Points ।


कतिपयले आफनै Field मा काम गरीरहेका हुनछन, यसतोमा राम्रो, तर कतिपयले IELTS मा Score गर्न सक्दैनन, वा Age गईसकेको हुनसकछ। त्यसैले वहाँहरुलाई Points पुग्दैन।
यसतोमा कतिपय Agency ले Work Experience देखाइदिने पनि गर्छन जसले तपाईलाई Points थपन मद्दत गर्न सक्छ ।

NAATI/Translation - 5 Points


NAATI भनेको नेपाली बाट English र English बाट नेपालीमा Translate गर्ने Course हो। यसको पनि करीब ३-६ महिनाको पढ़ाई हुन्छ। को करीब पर्छ। Course गर्नेहरुले सजिलै पास गर्छन।

Accounting मा 70 Points चाहिने हुनाले ABCD ले Professional Course सँगसँगै NAATI पनि गर्नु भयको थियो, त्यसैले वहाँको PR हुने पक्का।


Total Points of ABCD- (Age + Master + IELTS + PY + NAATI) (30+20+10 + 5 + 5) = 70 Points
