Today our nursery children enjoyed a fun and engaging bubble wrap painting activity with Miss Jinan! 🎨🫧 They explored different colours and textures as they painted onto the bubble wrap, creating unique patterns and beautiful prints. This hands-on experience encouraged their creativity, curiosity and fine motor skills while giving them plenty of opportunities to experiment and have fun. 💕✨ ❤️
🚌📚 A Morning Adventure to Bankstown Library! 🌱🐸
Our preschool room had a wonderful morning filled with exploring, learning and adventure! 💛
We started our morning by catching the bus to Bankstown Library. Once we arrived, we excitedly made our way inside and enjoyed reading some wonderful books about gardening 🌱🌻, followed by a fun live-action read-along all about frogs! 🐸📖
We then explored the library, choosing books to read and enjoying different activities together. There were lots of opportunities for curiosity, conversation and learning! ✨
After our library visit, we headed to the local park for a quick play before making our way back to Cuddles 4 Kids. 🛝🚌💛
What a lovely morning of community connections, literacy, exploration and play! 📚🌿

Last week, Miss Nida and Miss Jinan created a homemade tunnel for our babies using our gymnastics mat, hula hoops, and a variety of fun items to crawl through and explore. 🌈
This exciting sensory and gross motor activity encouraged the babies to crawl, discover new textures, build confidence, and develop their coordination—all while having so much fun! 💛 We loved watching their smiles and excitement as they explored their special tunnel.
🍎🐛 The Very Hungry Caterpillar came to life in our 2–3 room this week! 📚💚
Building on the children’s interest in this much-loved story, we enjoyed reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, explored a fun learning station where the children could feed the hungry caterpillars 🥕🍓🍐, and created our own beautiful caterpillar crafts using our handprints 🎨🖐️🐛.
These engaging, hands-on experiences supported creativity, fine motor development, language skills, and imaginative play while making learning fun! It was wonderful to see the children’s excitement and curiosity throughout each activity. 🌿✨

✨ Building on the children’s fascination with magnets and buildings, we explored one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks—the Sydney Opera House! 🏛️
Using paper plates, reference photos, and plenty of imagination, the children created their own unique interpretations after Miss Josie shared her example and discussed the Opera House’s distinctive design. Every creation was different, celebrating creativity, problem-solving, and individual expression. 💛
Hands-on learning is always more meaningful when it grows from children’s interests! 🌟

Last week, we celebrated NAIDOC Week with some cheeky tunes! 🎶💛🖤❤️
Our children enjoyed learning about Traditional Aboriginal music, exploring Indigenous instruments, listening to stories through song, and discovering Aboriginal words. It was a meaningful experience that celebrated the rich cultures, histories, and continuing traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while encouraging curiosity, respect, and connection through music. What a wonderful day our Cuddles 4 kids had at our Teddy Bears’ Picnic! From colouring and tracing to creating their own collage teddy bears, there was so much fun to be had. 🎨✂️
Our teddy bears’ picnic area was the perfect place for imaginative play, and everyone loved decorating and enjoying their very own teddy bear biscuits. 🍪🧸
It was a day filled with creativity, laughter, learning, and lots of cuddles with our teddy friends. We love creating meaningful experiences that encourage imagination, fine motor skills, and happy memories. 💛✨

Celebrating NAIDOC Week in our Nursery Room 🌿🎨
Our little artists explored creativity by painting on natural bark that our educators thoughtfully collected. The children had so much fun experimenting with colour mixing, creating unique patterns, and discovering the beautiful textures of nature.
This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, curiosity, and a connection with the natural world as we celebrated and acknowledged the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
