๐ญ The Martin-Lysicrates Prize 2026
On Friday, a group of our students had the exciting opportunity to attend the Martin-Lysicrates Prize 2026, where they experienced the magic of live theatre and watched performances of three finalist plays written especially for young people.
Students then had the important task of casting their vote for the play they believed should be crowned the winner. Congratulations to Brendan Hogan, whose play Sucks to Be You was announced as the winning play on the day! ๐๐
Making the experience even more memorable, students were also fortunate to see The Hon. Anthony Albanese MP, Prime Minister of Australia, who attended the event. ๐ฆ๐บ
It was a fantastic experience for our students, and we are very proud of the way they represented our school! ๐ญโจ

๐ Attendance Matters โ Term 3, Week 4
Overall attendance across our school has dropped this week for a number of reasons, including the increased illness in our community, which we appreciate is often unavoidable.
Our focus this week is Unexplained Absences. Thank you to the many families who have taken the time to explain their childโs absence. Providing an explanation helps us accurately record attendance, understand the reasons students are away, and ensure we can provide the right support where needed.
If your child is absent, please remember to explain their absence within 7 days using the School Bytes App, by phone, email, or by speaking with your childโs teacher. ๐
