Today, the Year 7 Dib Enrichment Class took part in an exciting Aviation Discovery Day – Pilot for a Day experience at Bankstown Aerodrome. Students spent the day with professional flight instructors, learning what it’s like to be a pilot. They had the opportunity to navigate from point A to point B, fly a Boeing 737 jet simulator, and sit inside a brand-new training aircraft. This hands-on experience allowed students to explore the dynamic world of aviation, gain valuable insights into flight operations, and imagine what a future career as a pilot might look like.

Punchbowl High School was proud to host a Parent Information Session in partnership with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). The session offered valuable insights for both parents and students about what to expect as they transition into university life. Key topics included academic expectations, student life, and the wide range of support services available to help make the first year of university a successful and comfortable experience. A big congratulations to our students who have submitted their university applications and successfully completed the UTS U@Uni Prep Program. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and commitment as they take this exciting step toward their future.

Great progress being made by these barbers under the mentoring of Hamzeh Katoue (an ex-student). They are out there finding student clients, cutting students’ hair, and keeping the barbershop full and productive. Awesome work, boys well done 👍 Keep pushing forward and pursuing your dreams in the barbering world 💈 ✂️
