Little Footsteps Occasional Care is a warm and welcoming early childhood service located on Puckapunyal Military Base. We are licensed to care for a maximum of 16 children each day and pride ourselves on providing high-quality education and care in a nurturing environment where every child is known, valued, and supported.
We operate with a 1:4 educator-to-child ratio, allowing educators to build meaningful relationships with children, provide individualised learning experiences, and deliver exceptional care.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our close-knit team in a permanent part-time position commencing in October.
Service operating hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
About the Role

Provide high-quality education and care in accordance with the National Quality Framework.
Assist in planning and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children’s learning and development.
Observe, document, and contribute to children’s individual learning journeys.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
Work collaboratively as part of our supportive team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent).
A current Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
A genuine passion for providing high-quality early childhood education and care.
