On Friday 11 September, they’ll keep the swim, ride, run, and walk going all day, in the hopes of raising $20 000 for HEADSPACE.

We’re proud of their commitment and grateful to everyone who has already donated. You can help them reach their goal here: https://chuffed.org/project/196029-lap-it-up-xviii

Congratulations to our educational leaders for the significant contribution they have made to the understanding and practice of educational leadership.

We are very proud of Ella Summers and Jarrod Fawdry for being awarded an ACEL TAS Early Career Teacher Leadership Award, and principal Liz Illingworth for her ACEL TAS Excellence in Educational Leadership Award.

These awards are voted by their peers and presented at The Australian Council for Educational Leaders Tasmanian Branch Annual Awards Ceremony 2026.

What a great couple of days for Music at the College!

Our music students were joined by Australian session guitarist Michael Dolce for a Q&A session, where he shared insights from his career, followed by guitar and band workshops focused on songwriting, technique, and performance.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our young musicians to learn directly from an experienced industry professional, and we thank Michael for sharing his time, expertise, and passion with our students.

A record number of music students also participated in our Music Soiree, sharing their music in performance for family and friends.

SPC swimmers represented with pride at the recent NSATIS Swimming Carnival!

With several standout individual and team performances, the team brought home both the Boys Junior Shield and Boys Aggregate Shield, alongside Pennant wins for the U15 Boys, U16 Boys, and U16 Girls.

A special congratulations to Year 7 student, Travis, for breaking the record in the Boys U13 50m Freestyle, and Year 11 student, Olivia, who broke the record in the Girls Open 50m Breaststroke!

We look forward to cheering everyone on as they take to the pool again for the upcoming SATIS Carnival.
