Emergency drills are practised every month to ensure our educators and children are familiar and confident with the routine. The children often enjoy the little adventure of walking to our secure car park, happily waving to their educators as they safely make their way to the assembly area. Regular practice helps build confidence, promotes a sense of security, and supports everyone in knowing what to do in the event of an emergency.

Little hands hard at work! 🌿⛰️
Using coloured playdough, the children explored the beautiful mountains of New Zealand through our Berry Environmental curriculum while using their creativity and imagination to create their own unique environments. Through this hands-on experience, they developed fine motor skills, engaged in sensory play, and expressed their ideas through creative design.

This week, our children have been exploring and engaging in a variety of meaningful experiences for Reconciliation Week. From arts and crafts, to sensory play and thoughtful displays, to listening and moving to beautiful music, these are just a small snapshot of the activities woven throughout our curriculum.
We hope these experiences have helped us recognise and reflect on the importance of Reconciliation Week, while encouraging conversations about respect, inclusion, culture, and community within our learning environments.

🤎💛🖤 National Reconciliation Week 2026 🖤💛🤎
This week, we proudly recognise and celebrate National Reconciliation Week and this year’s theme: “All In”.
“All In” encourages all Australians to work together towards a more united and respectful future — where everyone plays a part in reconciliation.
At our centre, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where children learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and perspectives through meaningful experiences, storytelling, art, music, and connection.
By learning together from an early age, we help nurture kindness, understanding, respect, and a sense of belonging for all. ❤
