📢BREAKING NEWS – PTE
Starting August 7, 2025, the new PTE score ranges will officially apply to Australian Immigration Applications. The most significant change is the increased points in the Speaking and Writing sections.
✍️Previously, test-takers needed a uniform score of 65+ or 79+ across all skills. However, under the new system:
✍️To be recognised as Proficient (equivalent to IELTS 7.0), you’ll need a Speaking score of 76 and a Writing score of 69 — both higher than the overall required score.
✍️To achieve Superior English (equivalent to IELTS 8.0), the requirements are even stricter: Writing must be at least 85 and Speaking at least 88.
These changes reflect a clear tightening of standards, especially for those aiming to claim higher immigration points.
🔴Already scored PTE 65 or 79 in all sections?
Your result may still be valid if it falls within the official score validity period.
