PSS Playgroup 🧸
🌈🌞 👏🏽We welcomed several new families this week to our mob and we hope you had a wonderful time. It’s always so 🫶🏾heartwarming to see so many eager little 🧒🏽👶🏻🧑🏽‍🦱faces as they engage in all the fun learning experiences. Playdough as always was busy and is so good for developing their fine motor skills. 🎨Golfball printing, easel painting, 🧩puzzles and home corner were a hive of activity too. A big 👏🏽thankyou to our very own Ms Murphy for singing, dancing and reading our 📕story this week - ‘Possum Magic’. 🥰Ms Murphy was the first teacher to establish our amazing playgroup. 🩷
💥NEXT WEEK is BOOK WEEK- So come along in your favourite book character and join in our school’s celebration. 🧑🏻‍🚒👩🏼‍🍳👩🏾‍🌾👸🏽🧙🏼‍♀️

Malia, Emily, Georgia and Cydnee went to Ingham on Sunday 19th July to the Northern Queensland 10-12yr School Girls Cricket trials.

Malia, Emily and Georgia trialled amazingly throughout the day.

Cydnee unfortunately came down unwell early in the morning and was unable to complete the trial.

Georgia was selected for the NQ Team and Cydnee was selected as Shadow to compete in the State Championships in September. Looking forward to seeing how the girls go at States. Good Luck!!

TOGETHER, OUR SMALL ACTIONS CREATE CHANGE

Daily message: During Bullying No Way Week, we’ve explored how as a school community we use small acts to have a big impact against bullying. You need to know you’re not in this alone. The best way to stop bullying is by working together. That means students, teachers, families, and friends standing up, speaking out, and supporting each other.
