Week 10!
This last week of Term 3 is another busy one. Grevillea's excursion to Windang Island is on Tuesday. We look forward to welcoming the children from Grandma Rosie's on Wednesday and we are all looking forward to finding out what our PBL reward will be!

Child & Family Health Nurse Visit

Do you have a young child or a child starting Kindergarten in 2027?

The local Child & Family Health Nurses will be visiting Primbee Public School on Thursday 17 September 2026 from 9:30–11:00am in the School Library.
Pop in for a friendly chat about your child’s health, development and school readiness, including things like fine motor skills.
All families with younger children are welcome. No appointment needed.

Week 9 is here!

We have another busy week ahead at Primbee, with plenty happening across the school and our community. Highlights include our LLC Public Speaking Finals, Enrichment Groups, the Bluebell excursion and Regional Athletics.

We wish our students representing Primbee at the Public Speaking Finals and Regional Athletics the very best. We’re also sending a huge good luck to Eve, who is heading off to represent PSSA at the State Softball Championships — an amazing achievement!

🌟 Week 7 at Primbee! 🌟

This week we are celebrating both SASS Week and Literacy and Numeracy Week.

A very special thank you to our wonderful SASS staff, who do so much behind the scenes and across our school each and every day. Their care, organisation, flexibility and support make an enormous difference to our students, staff and families. We are incredibly grateful for everything they bring to Primbee Public School. 💚🐝

We’ll also be celebrating the importance of literacy and numeracy and the learning that happens in our classrooms every day.

There’s plenty happening this week, including Check-In Assessments, Playgroup, our Father’s Day Stall and Public Speaking Stage Finals.

Week 6 is here!

This week, students will be presenting their Public Speaking Competition speeches in class. We can’t wait to see them share their ideas, build confidence and put their speaking skills into action.

There’s plenty else happening too, with Storytime, Primbee Markets, Enrichment Groups and Playgroup in the Hub.

What an incredible day!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring the Primbee Tiny Forest to life. Together, our students and community planted 750 native trees, taking meaningful climate action while creating a space that will benefit our community for generations to come.

We had a surprise visit from a Green and Golden Bell frog! This endangered species has a local habitat in the Korrongulla Wetlands and made its way to the Tiny Forest.

A special thank you to Wollongong Botanic Garden, Wollongong City Council, and Groundswell for their partnership and support, and to our amazing staff, families, volunteers and students who made the day such a success. A huge shout-out to Helen, Jenny and our volunteers in the hub for making this project possible.

We can't wait to watch our Tiny Forest grow!
