On Thursday, we came together for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea ☕💛

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported this wonderful cause. Your kindness and generosity helped make the day so special while supporting an incredibly important fundraiser 🌿

A very special shout out to our educators, who worked so hard preparing and organising all of the delicious food, while also promoting and supporting the cause throughout the fundraiser. We truly appreciate all the time, care, and effort that went into making the day such a success ✨

The children also loved enjoying some yummy treats and sharing in this special experience together 🧁💛

It was a beautiful morning filled with community, connection, and support for a meaningful cause 💛

One of the focus areas we explore here at Everlearn Preschool is sustainability 🌏💚

Sustainability begins with our everyday practices, the way we run our centre, and the routines and experiences we provide for the children each day 🌿♻️

Throughout the year, we engage in a variety of projects focused on reducing waste, recycling, reusing materials, and developing sustainable learning practices. From exploring nature to caring for our outdoor spaces, the children are developing an understanding of how small actions can help make a big difference ✨

Recently, the children have been collecting bottle lids and yoghurt caps to reuse within learning experiences. Our Navy Room has also been incorporating cardboard, leaves, and reusable bags into their play and learning, while exploring the importance of saving water by turning off dripping taps 🌱
Next, the children will begin creating cars and birds using recycled materials such as egg cartons, milk cartons, bottle caps, and popsicle sticks.

We love watching the children become thoughtful, capable, and environmentally aware learners through these meaningful experiences 🌿

School Photo Day was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of excitement 📸✨
The children had so much fun taking photos with their friends and educators, and it was so special seeing their personalities and big smiles shine throughout the morning 💛
Everyone did an amazing job participating, and we are so proud of how confident and happy the children were during the experience 🌿

International Nurses Day at our centre was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the important role nurses play in caring for and helping others 💉💛
The children enjoyed dressing up as nurses and exploring different medical tools and equipment, learning about what nurses use and how they help keep people safe and healthy 🩺✨
Through imaginative play, discussions, and hands-on experiences, the children developed an appreciation for the kindness, care, and hard work nurses show every day 🌿
A fun and meaningful day celebrating our everyday heroes 💙

Our Mother’s Day Concert this year was a beautiful celebration dedicated to all the wonderful mums, grandmothers, and special people in our lives 💐💛
The children proudly performed a heartfelt concert filled with songs, smiles, and love, making it such a special morning for our families 🎶✨
Following the concert, families enjoyed spending quality time together through activities including nail painting, tea parties, card making, necklace making, and more 🌸☕🎨
It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate and appreciate the incredible mums and mother figures who give so much love, care, and support each and every day 🌿

On Saturday 8th, a group of our educators took part in the Darkness Into Light walk at Bondi 🌅💛
With a 5:30am start, the team completed a 5km walk together in support of an incredibly important cause that raises awareness for mental health and wellbeing 🌿
It was a powerful experience walking alongside the community, reflecting on the importance of awareness, support, and coming together to make a difference ✨
A meaningful morning of connection, compassion, and community spirit for a cause that truly matters 💛

International Firefighters’ Day at our centre was full of fun, learning, and hands-on experiences 🚒🔥✨

The children explored the important role firefighters play in helping and protecting our community through creative arts and craft activities and engaging discussions ❤️

They also took part in firefighter-themed obstacle courses and had so much fun “putting out fires” using water and paint, encouraging teamwork, movement, and imaginative play 💦🎨

A wonderful day of learning, creativity, and appreciation for our everyday heroes 🚒🌿

International Dance Day at our centre was full of rhythm, movement, and joy 💃✨
The children explored different styles of dance, moving their bodies freely and creatively to music from around the world 🌍🎶
It was a wonderful opportunity to express themselves, build confidence, and enjoy moving together as a group, celebrating the joy that dance brings to all cultures 💛

ANZAC Day at our centre was a meaningful time of learning, reflection, and respect 🌺
The children learned about what ANZAC Day represents through age-appropriate discussions, helping them begin to understand its significance in our community 💛
They engaged in creative experiences by painting poppy flowers, exploring symbols of remembrance and honour 🎨🌺
We also came together for our own ANZAC parade, where the children proudly marched together, showing respect and unity as a group 🌿
A thoughtful experience that supported understanding, creativity, and connection 🌺

Jelly Bean Day was full of colour, movement, and fun 🍬🌈✨
The children explored matching colours, sorting jelly beans, and using their thinking skills in playful, hands-on activities 🎨
They also got creative by building bridges using jelly beans and sticks, experimenting, problem-solving, and working together 🤝
There was lots of dancing like jelly beans: bouncing, twisting, and moving with lots of laughter and joy 💃🕺
