Helping AMEP learners take the next step in their health
AMEP students at Glen Eira Adult Learning Centre Inc recently took part in breast health information sessions delivered in partnership with Brest Screen Victoria.
Designed for CALD learners, the sessions combined clear visuals, interpreters, and practical guidance to build understanding and confidence around early screening.
Students actively encouraged one another to take part, and for some, it was their first experience of this kind of health service.
In total, 24 women signed up for a mammogram.
