Get your favourite sporting jersey ready! 👕 On Friday 28 August, Prairiewood High School is getting behind Jersey Day to raise awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation. Students can: 🏆 Wear their favourite sporting jersey with normal school uniform bottoms 💰 Bring a gold coin donation to roll call 🌭 Grab a sausage sizzle 📸 Strike a pose at our Polaroid photo station. Want to join the fun or grab some food? Bring a little extra money on the day! (Eftpos OR exact cash only)

✨🏐Prairiewood had six teams proudly compete in the NSW Netball Schools Cup. All teams worked exceptionally well, showcasing their skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and enthusiasm, with plenty of fun had by all! Congratulations to our four Year 11 students who did an outstanding job coaching and umpiring throughout the day. A special thank you to the teachers who assisted and supported our students throughout the event.✨🏐

This week, we are acknowledging Bullying No Way Week. This year’s theme, “Small Acts, Big Impact,” reminds us that even the smallest actions can make a huge difference in creating a safe and supportive community. By coming together and embracing simple, positive gestures, we can all play a part in standing up against bullying. Throughout the week, students will be looking at strategies to discover how small moments can turn into positive outcomes for others.

🌟 Congratulations to Amelia for her spectacular performance at the Secondary Gymnastics State Championships! 🌟

Amelia placed an outstanding second overall, brilliantly representing both Prairiewood High School and the Sydney South West team. Her individual performances were exceptional. She took home first place on Beam and second place on Bars, securing her impressive second place in the Championship.

Competing at this elite state level requires immense dedication, and Amelia has trained tirelessly to balance her schooling with her sport.
