It’s Winter (!.) and the start of Pride Month 🏳️🌈
To every one of my LGBTQI+ friends and family: I see you, I love you, and you make the world a better place.
Loving you means wanting you safe, in every workplace and community space you walk into. That is what my work is for. Person-centred, trauma-informed practice is how I believe we can get there.
Because understanding that safety feels different in every body, and that how others treat us, like homophobia has a real impact. Building safety builds interoception, our connection to our physical and emotional state. As both grow, spaces become more psychologically safe. More people feel included. More collaboration and creativity happens. People bring more of themselves, because less of them is bracing for harm.
When we grow up in a world, family or community that doesn’t accept us for who we are it can be so easy for shame and self-hatred to take hold. Even years down the track when it seems like we have everything together it can still be there, lurking.

Upcoming workshop in Ocean Grove with - love you to join us on Saturday 6 June for 3 hours on all things trauma-aware, and trauma-informed yoga.
Not just a workshop - we’ll start with a grounding before discussing how trauma (and chronic stress - and a bunch of other things) can influence our brain/body connection.
Minimal jargon and no need to share anything personal - my workshops are all choice, no obligation - sitting back and receiving without sharing is always welcome.
Love you to join us - all details to book are in my bio. Feel free to dm any questions.

I thought it was time to reintroduce myself and share what I do alongside facilitating yoga and teacher training.
My work connects nervous system recovery with organisational design. I consult with boards and senior leadership teams to help embed trauma-informed principles into their systems and decision making.

These slides provide context on my research into organisational drift and why I view this work as a structural framework for performance.

Trauma and chronic stress live in the body – and show up on the yoga mat.
Join me for a 3-hour workshop exploring how our nervous systems respond to challenge, and what that means for practice.
We'll cover foundational neurobiology, polyvagal theory, and practical regulation tools. Drawing on trauma-informed research, TSY principles, and the work of van der Kolk and others – this is a compassionate, evidence-based introduction to working with trauma and stress through yoga.
No disclosure needed. Just bring curiosity about the body-brain connection.
Sat 14 March | 10:30am–1:30pm | Melbourne
For practitioners, teachers, and anyone wanting to understand how the body holds what we've lived.
