🇦🇺 Join Us for a Very Special Performance at the Shrine of Remembrance 🎶

We're inviting all our young musicians and families to be part of a truly meaningful community event as Hello Music performs at the Battle of Amiens Memorial Service at the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne.

The Battle of Amiens, fought on 8 August 1918, marked the beginning of the final Allied offensive of World War I. Often described as the turning point that led to the end of the war, it remains one of Australia's most significant military commemorations.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to experience the honour of performing in one of Melbourne's most iconic and historic venues while paying tribute to those who served with courage and sacrifice.

Chinese-Australian tenor Daniel Szesiong Todd and Hello Music alumni, whose career has taken him from Australia to Europe and Asia, and who continues to push the boundaries of contemporary and immersive opera.

In this episode, Daniel shares his remarkable journey, insights into the evolving world of opera, and his passion for creating meaningful audience experiences.

Daniel also shares insights into his upcoming role in Liza Lim's groundbreaking first opera, The Oresteia, returning to the stage for the first time since its 1993 world premiere in a new production by Sydney Chamber Opera and ELISION Ensemble at Carriageworks.
