Unemployed? Oui. Unbothered? Almost.

I came back from my holiday in France with no job, a few extra pounds, and a suitcase full of linen I can’t afford to dry clean — but that won’t stop me.

They took the job, but they won’t take the glow.

In France, we say “bien habillée, même pour aller nulle part” — well dressed, even when going nowhere. That’s the energy.

Now? I’m gonna finally use up all the skincare I was “saving” and getting very creative with outfit repetition.

Shopping my wardrobe like it’s a concept store.

My beauty workshops are still running — and honestly, they’re keeping me sane. A few hours teaching women how to glow? It reminds me I still have purpose, even when the path is blurry.

This is a behind-the-scenes look at my very chic crisis: styling looks I can’t afford to wear, applying serums like I have somewhere to be, and romanticising rock bottom — in good lighting, of course.

Because when the world says pause, I say pose.

Spending time in France always reminds me of something so simple, yet so powerful:
French women don’t try to look younger.
They just become more themselves.
They embrace elegance over excess, confidence over comparison.
They don’t hide their age — they wear it like a badge of honour.
Skincare is sacred, style is second nature, and the real glow? It comes from self-respect.

I’m not trying to be who I was at 25.
