🎓✨ Celebrating the Class of 2026 ✨🎓
What a fantastic way to celebrate our graduating Year 12 students!
On Friday 9 October, the Class of 2026 marked their final assembly at Portland Secondary College with a day full of memories, laughter and celebration. The day began with a special breakfast hosted by our VM students before staff, students, family and friends gathered for a memorable whole-school assembly.
Following the assembly, the festivities continued with a friendly water fight between Year 12 students and their mentor teachers, before everyone came together for a colourful and energetic Colour Run.
We are incredibly proud of all that the Class of 2026 has achieved during their time at PSC. As our VCE students prepare for their upcoming exams and our graduates look ahead to further study, training and employment, we wish them every success for the future.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your PSC Community is proud of you, and we can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you. 🎉🎓💙

Yesterday we had 9 students head to Ballarat to compete against other schools in the Region for GWR Athletics. We are so proud of the efforts put in by each of our students and are thrilled that their achievements were able to be recognised with their placings throughout the day.

👏👏👏 Welcome to the Live4Life Glenelg Crew of 2026!

This year’s Crew theme, “Different isn’t wrong when everyone belongs!” reminds us of the importance of acceptance, inclusion and celebrating what makes each person unique. Because when everyone feels like they belong, our communities become stronger.

And the artwork for this year's poster sure captures the spirit, featuring fabulous drawings by the Crew, representing community in all its brilliant diversity!

Congratulations to the 62 incredible Live4Life Crew members from Casterton Secondary College, Portland Secondary College, Heywood & District Secondary College and Bayview College inspiring us all in a year of mental health conversations, connection and leadership.

2026 INDONESIA STUDY TOUR || Week 2 Highlights || Part 3

Our students continued their environmental learning with visits to the Turtle Conservation and Education Centre and Bali’s mangrove forests. They learnt about the challenges facing endangered turtles, including illegal trade, ocean pollution and climate change, before releasing turtle hatchlings into the ocean and hoping for their safe return one day.

The week concluded with a hands-on mangrove conservation experience, where students paddled through the waterways on SUPs, collected rubbish and planted mangrove saplings. It was a valuable opportunity to learn about the importance of these ecosystems, the impact of plastic pollution and how small actions can help protect our environment for the future.
