YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE ||

Will Rethus - R&M Menzel Electrical Contractors

Earlier this year, Will completed a week of work experience at local business R&M Menzel Electrical Contractors.

"I was able to learn how to install a PowerPoint and fit downlights. I am looking forward to learning more about a career as an electrician and pursuing other training opportunities, such as TAFE."

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT ||

Gracie Piergrosse - Year 9

Gracie recently represented Australia at the BMX World Championships in Brisbane, competing against some of the world's best riders.

After earning her place on the national team through her success at the BMX National Titles, Gracie competed against a large field of around 70 riders from around the world. Gracie achieved outstanding results, finishing 15th in the world on her 24" cruiser bike and 25th in the world on her 20" bike.

BMX racing is very fast paced sport, with most races lasting around 45 seconds, leaving little room for error!

Congratulations Gracie on achieving these outstanding achievements on such a big stage! ‍🚲

Jett Tiley - BBR Accident Repair Centre

Jett recently completed a week of work experience at local business BBR Accident Repair Centre. During his placement, he enjoyed learning more about the work involved in repairing cars, including preparing vehicles for sanding as part of the repair process.

Emily Legg - Jaycee Kindergarten

During her work experience placement, Emily demonstrated professionalism and dedication. She worked respectfully with staff and children, actively participated in the program, and showed a strong willingness to learn and contribute. Her employer noted that she would be a valuable asset to the early childhood sector.
