Congratulations to Ava Jacobson who was selected in the 2026 GWV Rebels Under 15 Girls squad, and competed in the V/Line Cup Carnival over the school holidays in Gippsland.
Ava made the final squad of 23 players after numerous trials, and competed against 85 other female footballers from the South West/Ballarat Regions.
This is a huge achievement for Ava, who has dedicated a great time and effort over the last few months, and worked incredibly hard on her football skills over the years.
We look forward to where this takes Ava on her football journey in the future.

The Yr 11 VCE VM students are completing Unit 2 Connecting with the Community. Last term they visited the Portland Visitors Centre and Maritime Museum to learn further about the history of our community. The students enjoyed gathering information as a scavenger hunt exercise and developing their knowledge about our unique community. Thank you to the staff and volunteers who assisted us.
