Welcome to the team, Emersyn and Ruby! Emersyn and Ruby have recently started with us as our new Speech Pathology Allied Health Assistants and we are so excited to have them on the team!
They are both currently studying a degree in speech pathology at the University of Newcastle. Emersyn has a few years’ experience as an AHA, and Ruby has experience working with young children.
You’ll find Emersyn across at our Cessnock clinic on Tuesdays, and Taylors Beach on Thursday and Friday. Ruby will be at Taylors Beach on Fridays for the time being. If you see the girls in the clinic, don’t forget to say hi!

Welcome to the team, Yuki! Yuki has recently started with us as our new Speech Pathology Allied Health Assistant and we are so excited to have her on the team!
Yuki is currently studying a degree in speech pathology at the University of Newcastle. She brings with her first hand experience working with children as she has worked in Early Childcare for the past 8 years!
You’ll find Yuki across at our Cessnock clinic on Mondays for the time being. If you see Yuki in the clinic, don’t forget to say hi!

50 Years of Deadly. For five decades, NAIDOC Week has celebrated the voices of our communities - steady, unapologetic, and proud. Each year, its themes have called for truth, celebrated culture, honoured resistance, and reminded the nation of who we are. 2026 marks a milestone. It's a tribute to the people who built this movement. the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who keep showing up, year after year. NAIDOC has always been more than a week - it's a platform, a protest, a celebration, and a statement of survival.

Today marks the start of National Reconciliation Week. This years’ theme is ‘All In’ - a great reminder that reconciliation is on everyone’s shoulders, not just a weight for First Nations people should be carrying. You can find resources and events over on the Reconciliation Australia website!

Introducing our new program - Sign and Sing! This one is specifically for the littlest bubs (4-12months old) and their carer/s to come along and learn sign language to their favourite nursery rhymes and songs!
