Involving yourself in your child’s schooling is a very rewarding experience, both for yourself and your child.
Engagement in a child’s schooling by parents invariably results in a marked improvement in the child’s academic results. Meetings of the P&C Association are held at the school on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. These last about an hour and a half, and a wide variety of issues are discussed. You will find the meetings informative and a useful opportunity at which you have a chance to have your say and find out what is going on. You are strongly urged to attend this friendly forum.

We have a fantastic week planned at Tacking Point Public School to celebrate Book Week – 24th–28th August! From Pop Up Libraries and Where’s Wally, to a special canteen meal deal, our Scholastic Book Fair and, of course, the much-loved Book Week Parade (and coffee van) – there’s so much to look forward to! 🛍️ How it works:
Classes will visit the hall with their teacher, where students can choose a special gift for their dad, grandad or special someone.
🎟️ On the day, QKR! ticket purchases will be listed and children simply need to give their name at the stall.
🛍️ IMPORTANT: Please remember to include a shopping bag in your child’s school bag on Thursday 3rd September so they can bring their purchases home.
