I also have extensive experience helping students through school band content, HSC repertoire and internationally recognised exams, such as AMEB and Trinity. Most importantly, i believe it's important to create a positive, encouraging and safe space to learn in. Having taught from Northern Beaches Drum School in Sydney, since 2010, my young family and I relocated to beautiful Port Macquarie in 2023. I look forward to sharing my passion for drums and music with my students here. My qualifications include a BMus(Perf) and I am currently studying a Master of Teaching (Secondary) to enable teaching music in high schools. I also enjoy playing piano, singing and teaching the fundamentals of music theory.
