Took our time and ended up with the goods after Lachie came tight on this awesome midday 96cm mulloway – a great fish on light tackle and a 3” Bait Ju**ie Prawn! 🦐

The fish of dreams (literally!) for the world’s #1 flathead fan Hayato Ise! 🐊 I immediately knew this was the one we wanted when its head broke the surface after it ate the lure. As you can imagine, Hay’s celebration was huge!🤣🕺🤝

Great to have magochi (Japanese flathead) master Hayato back this year for 5 days and round two on big dusky flathead✌️Despite looking almost identical, big dusky flathead and magochi are very different, so there was a lot of learning last year… This year was a different story – we absolutely whacked ‘em and he is heading back to Japan with a new PB of 96.5cm! 👍 (All fish were released in top condition after a quick photo)

Awesome to guide Ben onto a couple of quality daytime lure crunching mulloway! 🎯 Best two fish went 100cm & 90cm and swam away strong!💪
