You’re My World, but I’m Your Universe

Some days, it feels like taking care of you is the only thing I do. My only task, my only accomplishment, my whole day wrapped up in your little world.

But then I remember—while you’re my world, I’m your universe.

To you, I’m everything. I’m the one who wipes your tears, ties your shoes, and tucks you in at night. I’m the keeper of snacks, the finder of lost toys, and the safe place you run to when the world feels too big.

It might feel small some days, like my to-do list revolves entirely around you. But in your eyes, it’s not small at all. It’s everything.

And honestly? That’s the greatest accomplishment of all. To be your universe, even on the days when it feels like I’m just getting by. Because in this season of life, being your everything is more than enough.
