Happy Belated Book Week to us!
We may be a little late with the Bookweek activities, but we are all systems GO!
We have a blind book date of Goodreads top 25 reads.
We have lots of free books that are waiting to go to a good home.
We have a 'Match the reader with their favourite book' competition.
We have several genre displays... with great reads available to borrow.
AND we are having daily activities. Today's activity was to write a 50 word short story.
There are prizes to be won! So see you in the library at lunchtime.

Our Library's P.C. H05 held a fundraising breakfast this morning, with all donations going to Caritas.

A little bit later than planned... But Happy International Women's Day

After a busy day attending various classes, visiting Flynns Beach and our local Council Chambers, our Japanese visitors cooled off in the library whilst collaborating with their hosts to write a diary of their day's activities.

The library's P.C. H05 tried a little something different this morning. Breaking into assigned groups they answered a range of questions in getting to know each other. Questions ranged from: 'If your inner monologue had an accent, what accent would it be?' to 'Would you rather always win by cheating or always lose but play fair?'

The library was alive with festivities this morning as H05 celebrated the end of year. Firstly we had our closing of our Prayer Space, then it was party time at recess. Secret Santa, PC presents and hot chips were the order of the day!
