Urgent information regarding Uniform Orders:
Due to circumstances out of our control the delivery of our uniform stock has been delayed until mid February. Our aim at this point is to provide a school polo shirt to all students that have already placed an order. A notification will be sent when the stock has been received. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause families.

The P&C Uniform Shop will be open Friday 27th and Monday 30th January from 8am to 12pm for collection of orders.

Please place your order through Flexischools prior to the day to ensure it is received in time. For existing students use your 2022 class and new students, welcome, please use class KKS.

At this stage the Uniform Shop is NOT accepting the Back to School vouchers. Due to the late notification from the government last term, Flexischools was unable to integrate the vouchers into their ordering system for the start of the Year, but hope to accept them in the coming months.

Any uniforms not collected will be sent to the students classroom when they return.

From Tuesday the 8th November some items on the canteen menu will incur a price increase.

Over the last 12 months we have experienced ongoing price increases from our suppliers. We have tried to absorb these increases for as long as possible but now need to increase prices to cover supply costs.

These items have not had a price increase for a number of years and include: muffins, juice poppers, flavoured milks, juice bottles, icecream cups and chips. Poppers or water will no longer be included with the sushi deal.

New prices will be on the Flexischools ap from Tuesday or a paper copy of the menu can also be requested from the canteen from Tuesday.

URGENT - HAVE YOUR SAY - PROPOSED NEW ZONING
At the PMPS P&C meeting the proposed zoning for public schools was discussed.
The P&C had several concerns these are:
Walking distance to local schools
• These proposed changes are a safety concern, students who currently walk from town beach area to PMPS will be zoned for Hastings Public School therefore increasing road traffic and decreasing the ability of students to walk to school safely.
• PMPS students will be zoned to HSC - Westport Campus, resulting older siblings being unable to collect younger siblings from PMPS for the journey home.
Accommodation of population growth in the area
• These proposed changes do not include any population growth areas for PMPS. Part of Sovereign Hills and Thrumster should be included in PMPS intake areas.
Better balance enrolments across our schools
• Diversity across secondary public schools will be decreased with primary schools of lower Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) being zoned to the same high school. This will have negative impact on public education for our region.

UNIFORMS.
If you have ordered uniforms for collection from the school office on Monday 31st. These are now to be collected from the school gate on Monday. All uncollected uniforms will be sent to student classes on Tuesday.

Don't forget to place your uniform order through Flexischool by Thursday 20th January for collection at the school gate on Monday.

The final day for CANTEEN 2021 is this Wednesday. There will be no recess, lunch or counter service available on Thursday, so don't forget to pack food and a drink on Thursday.

The final day for the UNIFORM Shop is this Wednesday. Due to restricted access of parents and carers on-site, back to school uniforms are available through FLEXISCHOOLS online only. Collection will be available from the school gate on Monday 24th January 8.30am - 11am. Select Monday 24/1 and use your child's current class when placing your order. Orders placed after the 24th January can be delivered to the classroom or collected from the office when school reopens.

New machine is ordered and will hopefully arrive early next year. 😢

The Canteen and Uniform Shop will be closed next week reopening on Monday 22nd November.

So, don't forget to pack a yummy recess, lunch and your water bottle next week.
