CENTIPEDE AND A FEAR OF HER OWN FEET; Once upon a time there was a Centipede that was afraid of its own feet. Wherever she was, she always looked forward to the front of her nose because she was not afraid of her nose. She also loved her tentacles. Both her nose and tentacles were very interesting to her. As she was afraid of her feet and loved her nose and tentacles, she preferred to always look upwards, rather than downwards. The more she watched in front of herself and above her, she was more joyful and happy, constantly ready for new adventures. She loved to travel so much that she sometimes imagines herself traveling very far or even flying. As long as she looked up she was very fast, movable, full of energy, however, every time she looked upon her own feet she realized she had legs. As soon as she did that she became heavy on her feet, thinking she is fat, afraid, she would stop and cry because she could not remember where she was going. It was terrible. She would also tumble here in there, everywhere, looking at her legs making the right steps, left steps, screw-in step, interrupting steps, not knowing where she wanted to go. She thought how can this be possible that these steps go this or that way, without even telling her? One leg would go behind the other, the third behind the fourth, the fifth behind the sixth, or perpendicularly, transversely, inverted, jerking, squeaking, banging into the foot in front of it or next to it, Wow, this thinking became so tiresome and exhausting. When she calmed down a little, she decided to never look at her feet again. especially as she became so confused and paralyzed with fear. She was afraid of this stubborn gait that made her wonder so much, making her to never become hungry or tired. When this happened, she simply wanted to escape from her feet. That is all that she wanted to do. After such a silly tumult, especially when the rain fell, when mud cleaved to the toes and which constantly had to be removed, meaning, which meant constantly looking at her feet, she would end up being so overwhelmed and in such a great fear that she hardly had any energy left to continue walking. At that moment she spotted a snail, spider and a beautiful butterfly looking at her. The snail asked the silly girl, what was she constantly afraid and confused?. Without a delay, she answered him that she was afraid of her own feet. She said, I can not even look at them. When I see them I become so scared. I just want to get away from them, but I can't. They always follow me wherever I go. The snail answered and asked her has she ever looked back retracing her footsteps? if you look back you could have had noticed how much your feet are actually helping you. Without the feet, no one can take a step forward. We could not take any steps backward, neither left or right, up or down. If the feet do not move us, we could not find water, where the food is, where the sun shines, we could not walk through nature. You would not be able to climb to the top of a tree, on a leaf, they also take you out of the trouble, from the storm and many silly situations. In order to progress on the road ahead of you, you need your feet and to move on, to reach the goal. Likewise, I can not boast of having any legs, while you have so many, no less, no more, but as much as you need. Therefore, instead of being scared of them, you thank each and every day for your feet and that they have so many toes and heels, that they carry you where ever you tell them to go and that they do many other useful things. If you are thankful to them every day, they may not scare you any longer. Instead of being your enemy, they will become your friend and a constant companion, someone that will be with you together, forever, walking with you and leading you to many new adventures.
