A quick reminder as we head deeper into autumn, it’s a great time to check what’s in your child’s bag:

🧥 A warm layer or jacket
🥾 Closed in shoes and socks
👕 At least one full change of clothes
👒 A hat for those bright autumn days

We love getting outside in all seasons, so being prepared helps children make the most of every moment.

🌊 Sea Week at Eco Kids Village 🐠

This week the children had a wonderful time exploring everything under the sea during our Sea Week!

We enjoyed reading lots of ocean-themed books and learning about the many creatures that live in the sea, from tiny fish to larger sea animals, and even Mermaids! The children were very curious and loved sharing what they already knew and discovering new facts together.

We also talked about why the ocean is important and how we can help take care of it by keeping our beaches and waterways clean. 🌏💙

Throughout the week the children explored a range of hands-on activities, including tuff tray and sensory play. These activities allowed them to investigate ocean habitats, use their imaginations, and engage their senses while discovering different textures and materials.

It was a fantastic week full of learning, curiosity and creativity, and the children absolutely loved diving into all things ocean! 🐙🐚

🐶February at Eco Kids is National Love Your Pet month! 🐰

Normally just celebrated on February 20th, it is a special event dedicated to celebrating pets and the joy, comfort, and companionship they bring into our lives.

We are encouraging families to show appreciation for their pets and reflect on the positive impact animals have on mental, emotional, and physical well-being by sharing (via Storypark) pictures of their furry, feathered, or scaly friends (present or passed) to print and display in our foyer.

We look forward to celebrating the love and fondness our companions can provide Our Eco Kids community!

We’ve loved welcoming our children and families back over the last couple of weeks, as well as welcoming our new families. There have been lots of smiles, stories from the holidays, and gentle settling-in moments. 💛

🦷 Smiles all round in the Kookaburra Room! 🦷

Today we were lucky to have the NSW Health Mobile Dental Program visit our Kookaburra Room. This wonderful program supports children’s oral health by providing early dental checks in a familiar, comfortable environment, helping to build positive habits and reduce dental anxiety from a young age.

A huge thank you to our very own Kookaburra parent, Katie, for organising this fantastic opportunity for our children and families. We truly appreciate your time, support, and community spirit! 😊
