Spring Fair Call-Out – Bakers, Dough Makers, Pizza Toppings, Boxes & Volunteers!  🌱 🍕 🧁

Oh no! An email was sent out to members of The Lost Plot last week, but the email went into a lot of people’s junk! Therefore, please see a condensed version below, check your junk for the full email and contact [email protected] if you can lend a hand in any way 🙏🏻

Spring Fair preparations are well underway and there are a few things we need plenty of this year. We are incredibly grateful for any help that can be given:

 🥧🧁🍰 Bakers – we want your goodies!
We’re looking for homemade goodies for our Spring Fair Cake Stall and there are no limits on what you can make!

 🍕 🍄‍🟫 🍕 Dough Makers – we need LOTS!
Our wood-fired pizzas are one of the biggest fundraisers at Spring Fair and we need another 100 pizza doughs to be donated, including some gluten-free doughs.

 🧀 🍍 Pizza topping donations
We’re looking for donations of:

* Mozzarella cheese
* Pineapple
* English ham
* Vegetables

 📦 📦 📦 BOXES!
We’re still collecting boxes for our Plant Stall, cardboard boxes of all shapes and sizes are welcome.

🙋 And finally... VOLUNTEERS FOR THE DAY!
We would LOVE some more helping hands on the day of the Fair. Whether you can give us one hour, a couple of hours or the whole day, we can absolutely put you to good use!

So if you’re available on Saturday 19 September and would be happy to lend a hand, please let us know what time / how long you’re available for, and we’ll find a job for you!

And as always, thank you. Spring Fair 🌺 is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it really is the many individual contributions from our members that make the whole day possible.

🪻 FRIENDS OF MRS YORK’S GARDEN 🌺

At their Spring Fair stall, Friends of Mrs. York's Garden will have a range of homemade, hand-knitted and crocheted goods including slippers, rugs, tiny teddies, gorgeous kids cardigans and jumpers, beanies and bags as well as their fabulous Bluey and Bingo characters.

FMYG will also be selling homemade butters, marmalade, jams and relish, cards, books and their special FMYG pens. All this, and lots more! All funds raised are used to continue their incredible work at Mrs York’s Garden.

FMYG have generously donated a homemade beanie and pair of beautiful knitted slippers for the Spring Fair raffle, so don’t forget to buy your tickets on the day of the fair or at one of our working bees…

Organics MattR offer a simple, affordable and pleasant experience for their customers to access the best produce possible. Bringing their famous organic veggies and juices which help us feel our best, inside and out, this is a stall that you won’t want to miss!

🐝 GOODELICIOUS 🍯

With their Bee Farm located in Sancrox, Goodelicious have fifteen flavours of pure, raw honeys and creamed honeys which they infuse with ginger from their own garden, lemon myrtle leaves from their own trees and so much more. Goodelcious also produce an extensive range of beeswax balms for the whole family, to treat multiple ailments including eczema, arthritis, dry lips…the list goes on!

⭐️ Mini Workshop! ⭐️

The Goodelicious beekeeper family will be conducting a 10-15 minute workshop during the Spring Fair at 10am, all about their busy, buzzing friends, bees! Mini Workshop times and participating stalls will be listed in a future social media post and on the day of the fair.

Finally, Goodelicious have generously donated a pack of their most delicious honey to our raffle, so don’t forget to buy your tickets on the day of the Spring Fair or at one of our working bees…
