On Friday, our school captains, on behalf of our Student Representative Council (SRC), had the privilege of delivering a wonderful collection of donations from our generous Port Kembla Public School community, as well as essential items purchased using funds raised by the SRC, to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Wollongong Hospital.

The staff and volunteers were incredibly grateful for the donations, as their cupboards were quite bare. They explained that the Family Room depends heavily on donations and volunteers to continue providing a welcoming space, meals, snacks, and support for families with children receiving treatment in hospital.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our students, families, and staff who contributed to the food drive. Your generosity will make a real difference to families facing challenging circumstances.

The Ronald McDonald Family Room at Wollongong Hospital are always looking for volunteers, donations and support. More information can be found here: https://ronaldmcdonaldhousesydney.org.au/services-and-support/family-rooms/wollongong/
