Congratulations to Year 5 on their assembly presentation today. They took us on a journey of lots of learning. Well done and thanks for sharing the things you do in Year 5. ☘️👏👏👏👏☘️

☘️Focus on Year 6☘️
This term Year Six have been creating detailed Christmas artworks displaying the Journey of Jesus’s birth with the use of various art mediums like paint, clay, and pencil. We’ve been keeping that artistic talent flowing onto the subject of Math incorporating all six types of angles, obtuse, reflex, straight, acute, right and full rotation, in our creations of mini golf courses, skate parks and labeled artworks.

Year 6 has been learning how to be savvy shoppers. We have found that a great way to find a discounted total is to find 10% of the total, then multiply it by its multiple of 10, then take that away from the total amount. Lilah, Zac, Emelia and Marko are all over it!

Finally, we’ve been venturing through the many deep topics of our public speaking, like, I See You, If I could Change One Thing, It is in Giving that We Receive, Our Greatest Story, An Inspiring Leader and the Missing Link.

Thank you to our visitors from Warrawong Public Library who shared some wonderful Book Week stories with our K-2 classes today. The Book ‘Dear Broccoli’ was a favourite and three of so excited to win their own bit of broccoli as a prize for answering questions correctly. We are certain they will enjoy it cooked and on their dinner plate tonight 😂🥦
