Chad & Haylie are stoked to be partnering with (the Aussie AVELO pioneers) to host Australia’s first AVELO dive trip!

From 18th-23rd August 2024, AVELO students, divers and instructor candidates from Sydney and the world, will converge on Magnetic Island to 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 with the latest in scuba technology.

Chad and Haylie just became certified AVELO divers!!

We spent two days learning, trialling and experimenting with this new weightless scuba technology and picking the brain of inventor Aviad Cahana . 🤯 What a privilege it was to have him on course giving us all the insight into his creation!

A special moment for Haylie too, as she was joined on course by her dad Joe Bennett and ex student . And to sweeten the whole thing, Haylie was signed off and certified by ex-employer at Abyss Scuba Diving

Dive operators all over , including us, are watching Jasper with hope that our local can hold up against this mighty force.

This article explains the inevitable impact cyclones have on our beautiful playground and why in particular is such an anomaly.

Cyclone Jasper has intensified into a Cat 4 system with 185km/phr winds. Whilst Jasper’s path is uncertain, it is currently moving slowly south through the coral sea, forecast to begin tracking westward toward the coast next week.
